Who we are
Next Pixel Labs ("we", "us") provides software development and IT services. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@nextpixellabs.com.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, company name if you provide one, the service category you select, and the content of your message.
If you email us directly, we hold the contents of that correspondence.
Our hosting provider records standard server and network logs, which may include IP addresses, for the purposes of security and delivering the site. We do not use these for analytics or profiling.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the information you send to respond to your enquiry, to have the conversation that follows, and to keep a record of it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — specifically, replying to someone who has asked us to get in touch — and, where an engagement follows, performance of a contract.
We do not use your information for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share it with anyone for their own purposes.
Who processes data on our behalf
Our website is hosted by Render Services, Inc., which processes server logs as part of delivering the site.
Contact form submissions are delivered to us by Web3Forms, which transmits the message to our email inbox.
Our business email is provided by our email hosting provider.
Where you have consented to analytics, Google Ireland Limited processes analytics data on our behalf under Google's data processing terms. Google may transfer that data to the United States under its own transfer safeguards. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser add-on.
Each of these acts as a processor under our instructions. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, that transfer relies on the appropriate safeguards offered by the provider, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained for up to 24 months, so that we have context if you come back to us, and then deleted.
Where an engagement follows, we retain the correspondence for the duration of the relationship and for as long afterwards as we are required to for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EEA you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive it in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email info@nextpixellabs.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to your local supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. We keep the software we run patched and review access periodically.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data and is likely to present a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use data you have already given us will be notified to you directly where we hold contact details for you.
